On cold, rainy nights like this are when I realized the simple blessings of being able to be under a roof with people around. It is also on cold, rainy nights like this that makes me wonder about the world outside of me, of the “I”, of the people having to work in this hell weather and not being able to enjoy the simple joy of having dinner with their families. Of the old people having to collect cardboard boxes despite the rain and wind. Of cleaners having to help clear tables in hawker centers with selfish, impatient bastards screaming behind them and giving them those “don’t-dirty-me” eyes. Of so many things.

And then I feel so blessed. Blessed with being able to have dinner with my family. Blessed with having clothes to keep warm. I dunno why but maybe it’s just me, I keep thinking about the unfortunate and can’t help but feel so insignificant, like there’s always something I want to do, but just dunno how to start, or where to start.
And amidst all those thoughts I shall attempt to finish up my WR.
