this post really shld have came yesterday, but well i've been doing some reading, Mitch Albom For One More Day, which i completed in one evening. Now im really enjoying his books and it seems that i can easily draw links from his books to my own life. so i had decided to isolate myself from the TV and computer last night just to spend some time truly digesting the book and trying to recall what i had just read. and last night was an awesome night.

anyway, sabbaticals on my second day was fun. i thoroughly enjoyed it. I think windsurfing was one of the Sabbbaticals where you really get a lot of hands-on and do what you actually signed up to learn, which was good. although the wind was initially really strong and the water real choppy, making balancing a big problem, Almost as if a Rikishi had ran straight into you!, it eventually became easier to surf. well and Me was one of the few that can actually sail out to sea and make a turn and sail back, without swimming back. and it felt really good. my instructor said i was good (I BET HE AINT LYING THERE!) and that i shld return in the future to windsurf again (reminiscent of Tuesdays with Morrie) because he hardly saw anyone coming back to enjoy the sports after they have learnt it. "just 1 or 2 in a hundred at most maybe, that's all that return", in his own words. and before he was telling our group how he won 7 out of 8 races in the World Windsurfing Championship a few years back and won himself US$800 and a surf board. and that pride and joy in his face, it makes you think life can be so simple sometimes.

and i am being all worried and uptight abt my results which, really, GIVEN A CHOICE i wld have not given a hoot abt. and so i got a B for SEA history, and a disappointing E for my Econs Case Study, but to be frank i cld live without worrying abt them. because Love wins, Love always wins, or so Albom says, and i think i buy it.

i will be watching as much of Live Earth tmr as my body wld allow me, for the love of the world i wld see idiots performing and preaching abt the environment when i bet they flew to their venues in a private jet and use as much light as my entire house in just their toilets. and that is abt all the love they can speak abt.
