my eyes are literally glued to the TV. just caught the encore of Concert for Diana, which i think now is damn nice especially towards the end where Take That came and rock the stage and P Diddy and Kanye West paid flowing tribute to Princess Diana. Hah, I was just wondering how great sons William and Harry are, doing all these for their mother, and how poignant it must have been for them to go through the whole concert. More so when take that started singing Back For Good like "Want you back for good...". it must have been a tough nite for the princes but ya, it was a good concert.
Live Earth has just been boring so far. nothing memorable but random acts coming along to sing songs which has no relevance to the theme of A CLIMATE IN CRISIS. and i just love the set-up of the stage with elaborate lights and tonnes of energy usage to teach us about conservation. no other irony which is more bitter, esp with this concert having an expected audience of several million. it's easier to trust a barking dog these days than those barking celebs.
Asian Football Cup seems a more interesting programme to watch, like how the Iraq team is actually filled with grieving players who have to mask their misery under football to play in this tournament, according to their coach. and that definitely is a more authentic and genuine concern than Live Earth.
