The entire series of Harry Potter is simply enchanting and cool, it's not that i am easily excitable or whatever, but seriously, it is frigging nice!
Finally after putting it off for so long, i found time to read the Half-Blood Prince. Even though by then i knew that Dumbledore would be killed by Snape, i was still like so taken in by the book! it is juz so magical yet real n i dunno wad, even when snape killed dumbledore, i could feel my heart sqeezing so tight together they felt as if they were gonna burst! LYK ARGH!!!! it was so sad n unbelievable that he would be gone; life w/o the HEADMASTER in Hogwarts seemed unimaginable. yes, like totally u carn think of how Harry Potter would go on with his adventure against Dumbledore. n that is so HEARTWRENCHING! after i finished reading the book i was juz sitting on my bed stoning for half an hr, totally shocked and trembling, erm a bit, yes. anyway, i carn wait for the movie to come out, Goblet of Fire. i guess it'll be the best of the Potter movie made as yet! Whee! ;)
anyway, i am SO ENJOYING my sabbactical rite now. if not for the slutty bitchy few ppl arnd laughin at how a grp of the others never fail to makin a fool out of themselves by making stupid comments, or always being so enthu at raising ur hands n sayin "I THINK STARBUCKS IS POSH", or best of all, behaves like a retard in the public and try to tell jokes. i am amused. :)
today we went to some MICA place n had this convo wif the press secretary of MM. basically, i think i the thing was very cool, relax n all n we even had delifrance! i guess the only thing i learned was erm.... that "i am interested in politics because it is interesting ". this, obviously, is quoted from someone who had a lot of "private matters"! lol! this is mean! well, but hu, erm, realli cares??
after that we went down to poolside to tok cock as usual n RUIAN was so lame when i was tellin him abt my woes after reading HALF-BLOOD PRINCE. he said wad, if J.K. Rowling dies before she finishes writing her book due to complications at labour of her third pregnancy, then we would all hate her even more than KILLING dumbledore!
o well, despite all this lame-ness, and all, i think i did a good deed today. me, mel, ruian and jianyi went to tok to ms seng, asking her abt her trip to japan! she finally returned. she was beaming with pride when she was tellin us how only one country was represented by one teacher n she was THE ONE representing SIngapore. for now, i think erm she grew A WEE BIT, juz a WEE BIT, smarter after a trip- she has a sense of humour. when we were asking her hu wld be the OS-es for the events next year, she was lyk asking for reccommendations. then i was lyk sayin ALFRED for SOO and then she was lyk "他长得怎么样" then jianyi was lyk "乖乖的".
worthy of her intellect, i think she misheard and then went on to say with a tinge of humor '有么有像 RUIAN 一样怪, hor, ruian 是个怪才' lol! when did she become so CUTE one lor? haha, then i slipped her a question, ask her how long she had been a teacher n why she wanted to be teacher.
OOOO... then she stoned for a while then said "喜欢嘛．哎呀，不要讲别的啦！" lol! she so shy one. haha. anyway, for now, i dunno how our council wld be lyk, onnly lyk 10 ppl frm council this yr moving on.
